Do they know it's Christmas?

this is still one of our favorite Christmas songs.
click here to tell us what your favorite Christmas song is?

sweet bonus track alert!!!
our good friends ashley and jeremy parsons were so inspired by this post that they sent us this beautiful Christmas ballad. we simply had to share it with everyone. just so you know, it's starts a little slow but it keeps getting better and better. it peaks near the end in one of the most incredible vocal performances i have ever heard. it will have you in tears. honest. make sure you listen to the whole song.

ok, we didn't do the poll, cause we wanted to share this with the world of ohana blog readers, but this:

is the funniest christmas song we've ever heard. you HAVE to listen to it all the way through. If you're not laughing hard...well, um...we still will be.

Wow! It's hard to believe that was 23 years ago! That song still makes me get goosebumps! Thanks for sharing. My favorite Christmas song will always be Silent Night. There's something about it that just warms my heart and fills me with the Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas Baxter Ohana and everyone else out there! May God continue to bless you with love, happiness, health and friendship in the coming year! I love you!

hahah this is so embarrassing but topping the list is "All I want for Christmas is You". whew! I feel so much better saying that out loud for the whole blog world to see. Now the emancipation of Mimi is truly complete! lol :) :)

Nothing says Christmas like a flying esophagus! LOL!

My fav. is A Christmas Together by John Denver and the Muppets. How embarrassing is that? =)

Merry Christmas to you and all of your family!

I like Alivin and the Chipmunk's Christmas song... "I still want a Hulahoop!"
My fave!
Of course I sing it in the chipmunk voice. My husband loves that.
(He looks at me like I'm crazy... but that's not unusual.)

And yeah... MN is FAR from warm. I asked God the other day why he created cold weather... because it's certainly not heavenly... what went wrong there??? If my family and friends weren't in MN, I wouldn't waste another minute here!!

Have a warm and Merry Christmas you guys!

(I wouldn't spend time here in the winter, that is... I love the other seasons!)

I have never been to your web site before, but I read what you just wrote on Jessica Claire's blog and was completely impressed. Even though it might have been the right thing at the time, it is hard to help other people by bringing them to live in your home with you. I am completely rooting for you guys now and am an instant big fan. I'll have to come back after new years and just "dive" right into your work and your blog!
Love what I see MERRY CHRISTMAS you guys!

A very Merry Christmas to you guys!! Thanks for that clip, brings back memories. Can't really pick a fave Christmas song since I like a lot of them BUT we've been listening a lot to Reliant K's "Let it Snow Baby, Let it Reindeer" album, especially 12 Days of Christmas. FUN! Happy New Year!
