share a little aloha

one of the nicest things you can do for someone is to give them a ferrari.
one of the second nicest things you can do is to say nice things about them to everyone you know.
if you're reading this you're probably like us and have boatloads of photographers that you look to for inspiration, and maybe even a few that you inspire. every day we visit the blogs of photographers around the world in an attempt to shrink this huge planet of ours and bring everyone closer together. today we read a blog post that said lots of nice things (about us) and brought a smile to our hearts. that post was written by san diego photographer donna rohmer.
donna and her uber cute daughter cassi have been under the weather lately, so if you have an extra minute or two please surf over to donna's blog BY CLICKING HERE and wish her and cassi well. friendship is the best medicine. get well soon you two :)

I think "Baxter" is an ancient Egyptian word meaning "kick-ass". You guys are all amazingly good people!

I am one of the "inspired by you" peeps. I love your pictures, your love of family and friends and your continued support of us photographers. I've always been kinda afraid to ask for help, even though you seen so easy going in your blog. If I'm ever in need of help you will be the first :) Thank you so much for your inspiration and support! Have a super weekend Baxter Ohana!

It's easy to say nice things about you guys. Both as inspirational photographers, and well... inspirational people. Many thanks to you guys for the help and support you've already offered me. Hopefully Donna will get to meet you in person soon too.

Sooo...there was an extra spring in my step all day because I read this amazing post and was incredibly flattered-I have been in the photography industry for quite a few years and have always felt like it was a stuffy elitist group of people and I have been proven so wrong lately! Your amazing kindness has actually got my creative side going again and I can't wait to meet you guys in the near future. You made my day and I can't thank you enough! I am now going to go read all of your fans blogs becasue if they are as cool as you....I am in for a treat!!! Thanks again!!!

What a beautiful little girl. Love your theory on keeping our fellow photographers closely knit. It is good to know your fellow professionals. Great blog, and love the background.

First of all, I love the photo, and second, I completely agree with Donna. You are amazing and when I see comments from you, I light up. There have been so many people that have 'touched' me lately and I feel so blessed you stopped by my blog that day and still regret never leaving comments when I stalked yours. :) Thank you for kindness and the awesome thought about bringing us all together. Amazing, you are. :)

Are you guys for real? I agree with all the others that you have been so kind and supportive to us fellow photographers that you've never even met! And it's great that you embrace the face that you are inspiring others with your talents and your kindness. Keep it up!

PS: Nice photo...my hubby swears that's in Hawaii, not SD.
